slob-without-a-name said: hi there! i am just starting dancing this year. i am 21... =[ which i know is too late to do anything significant with dance. though i dont really want to be professional or anything. maybe some small competitions later on would be fun, but more than anything i just love it because its one of the only times i actually feel beautiful. do you think yoga would help with dance flexibility and balance?

i’m glad it makes you feel beautiful- that is why i dance, too. its an amazing feeling and i’m glad you’ve found something as wonderful as dance <3

yoga definitely helps with flexibility and balance - it uses different muscles and helps you learn to control parts of your body you aren’t normally aware of. on top of all that, its very relaxing <3 you should try it! :)
